Absolute vs. Original Inferno
« on: October 29, 2009, 01:32:46 AM »
If the two were drilled identically and thrown by the same bowler, what would the difference in the two reactions be ?  I guess, in other words, with everything else being equal-/////////// what is the difference between Activator and Activator Plus coverstocks ?

Thanks.

My wife has both and the Absolute has a much rounder shape than the Original. It also handles a little more oil. She starts with with her Absolute and goes down to the Original if she needs more length or a sharper angle. She throws the ball about 14-15mph with about a 300-350 rev rate.

That's what I suspected.  Are your wife's balls drilled the same ?

Almost. The pin on the Absolute is a little longer so it ended above the ring finger the cg swung about 1in from center of grip. The original has the pin in the ring finger and the cg in the same spot as the absolute.
