I see this type comparison frequently and wonder exactly what the poster means.  Does this mean the ball breaks 5 boards more (stand in the same position on the approach, same target, and hit the Brooklyn instead of the pocket)?  Or does it mean the poster had to move 5 boards left on the approach using the same target to hit the pocket, which would relate to about 10 boards more hook?  Or something else completely?  Is there a "standard"?  --  JohnP
