Strangely Quiet
« on: May 22, 2010, 12:08:56 AM »
Does anyone else find it weird that it is already the end of May and the Brunswick Summer release rumor mill is so quiet. I know the new avalanche is due any day now, but it just seems strange no rumors or any talk. Don''t bash I''m not saying I need anything(love 3.5 and my new Wild Card), just like to read about the new toys.

I'm the one who posted it. It is an overseas release and it is strong. The reps started saying it was just a overseas Rattler because they couldn't get them.

The Rattler plus all other Brunswick balls are released overseas. It is rated with more hook and length then the Rattler. It actually out hooks my Evil Siege drilled identical. I get a decent amount of overseas stuff and always compare them with similar U.S. only releases. Many times there are subtle differences, sometimes there are bigger differences.

This is what I was talking about.  There is a pic of the Diamondback Pearl as well.

Diamondback Pearl = stronger then Evil Siege, deffinatly not a Rattler. If you own one you know. Or if you read the spec sheet which shows that it is stronger then the Rattler by 20 or so on there rating system and has more length.

New stuff sounds good. Can't wait for some pics.

That was my fault, CRD clone. I haven't read clone else where today so I thought I should get that started.

In bowling it is nice to see what is new just to see. Eventually we will all buy a newer ball then what we have. Maybe something new to be released will be the one, maybe not. No different from anything else in the world. Throw new at the beginning of what ever and see the people flock.

I agree with crd. I have a decent amount of brunswick stuff drilled and undrilled. I seem to get a lot of games out of a ball before I need to drill something else up. It's part of the reason I have so many undrilled bowling balls. I haven't had as much luck with some other companies. I will say my pre-ebonite Track stuff was the same way. After the buy out, I started going back to more brunswick equipment and haven't stopped.(same for my morich stuff)
