Both asymmetrical heavy oil balls OOB, IMHO equally strong, but different philosophies and technlogical generations. WZ is med RG, med load solid particle ball with a coarse 400 grit finish. Coverstock based on PK18. It will hook VERY early, arcing, even when polished. True oil ball.
The SZ has IMHO a better, lower RG core (rolls earlier/better) and has solid Activator coverstock, 800 grit sanded OOB. More up-to-date in any way. This ball creates more roll through the core, but less early grip. Probably easier to shine up and influence ball reaction, and better suited when you want to tweak the ball for less oily conditions. Brunswick claims more hook and length for the SZ, and that might be true. Probably the more versatile ball of both.
