Punisher or Smokin'
« on: March 17, 2006, 05:59:15 AM »

I am presently using a Columbia Messenger Ti Pearl (black & gold) for dryer conditions and it is too strong.

Would the Punisher and/or the Smokin' be a better choice for a dryer (not bone dry) lane ball?  Also, how would they compare with the Ti Pearl?

Thanks for the help.

I can use my Smokin' on drier shots. It's pin right and up from ring, cg stacked. I can use it on medium oil, or swing it more on drier shots. You'd be really surprised how versitile it is.

I've used both on dry dry lanes.. and My Smoking Inferno is the best on this condition... its a slightly higher RG than most other Inferno's but the shell really skates if you keep it polished up.. I drilled mine pin above fingers on bridge.,., cg kicked out to around 4:30.. this drill gives it great length and a really nice arc on the back end...

its my go to ball when the lanes break down or get spotty...
