I would like to know if this ball can be made in other color than purple and where I can find it?

Umm...I think that the Overseas Red Alert 300 is the same ball, though I might be wrong.  I don't think it's purple.

The Red Alert 300 IS a CZ GP in disguise. Black/silver in color, but it is already out of production and might be hard to find.

One online pro shop (not sure if it is buddiesproshop?) has a light purple color version on sale, looks much like a TPC Shooter IMHO.

Dizzy,
Did u see the RA300 in Germany before? Our pro shop operator
have the CZ green pin and a RA300 with same drill.
He said the RA300 skid a little bit longer than the CZ.(same house and same pattern)
Although the spec a 100% same, he said the color make a difference
in the reaction for these case.
Is it possible the color can affect the ball's reaction.
Any idea ?

Just so you know, those violet CZ's that run for 90 at bowlingball.com are place on Ebay every day by the same website.  They always start the auction at 9.99, and bids usually close at anywhere from 25 to 40 dollars.  then there's the 23 dollars to ship.  Still a money saver with great shipping (took 5 business days for my last auction win)

Zone72, its violet! Worst then purple in my opinion. I would like Black or red or blue.

I don't think color change anything in reaction. I play with an old AMF Ninja (1992) and I still play 200+ games easyly. All is in the technic. The ball is to fit to your style but a good ball for someone will not be as good for another.

The Zone Classis Green Pin is well reviewed by almost everyone. I just want a new ball because my ball is not in very good condition. A lot of scratch.

The Red Alert 300 would be cool if its the same ball as the Classic Zone GP. I can only buy it oversea?

Which one?

I think Tom Baker was playing with the activator at the PBA final in 2004!?!? His style is very similar to mine. Its a Zone Activator?

I have both a ZC and RA300 drilled the same, because i liked the way the ZC rolled.. And yes, the RA300 skids more.. About 2-3 ft longer.. Snaps a little more, but still in the smooth lovable ZC-way.. If that made sense.. Hahahaha...

To the "color affecting reaction" question.. I'm convinced that it does.. Have seen some examples that convinced me..

Well if in 1976, then why not 2006?

The color does not affect reaction...period....

What do U base that on? Can U tell if Red Polyester balls hooks earlier or later than Blue Polyester? Note that they are polyester/plastic..

If color affect ball reaction we could choose the color of our ball when we buy one. Maybe it affect 0.000001% of the reaction.

I play with a AMF Ninja since 1994. This ball is more for dry-medium lane. I would need a ball for oiled lane that is similar to the Ninja in reaction.

thank you!

Usually on dry lane I use black, sport shot I use red, of coz bowling on a wall I can use any color I want, I also like the Elite PBA balls they have all different color for all the patterns.
