Buying Second Brunswick Ball
« on: May 22, 2005, 11:20:44 AM »
My wife and I are in a Happy Hour League in which after we complete the 12 weeks the brunswick lanes will receive a Target Zone ball. I have a Brunswick Punisher and need a spare ball. I am consisting Brunswick Power Grove Ball anybody have a suggest as to what type of ball I should add to my arsenal?

a nemesis would be able to handle oiler lanes than your punisher and it's about the same money. if you were looking for an even stronger ball the absolute inferno would be good.

I'd also recommend something stronger, for more oil. The Punisher is god for light conditions, an Reactive Power Groove would be for similar conditions, just a bit weaker.

For more oil, a Nemesis should be a good job. Versatile ball, and you can get it polished or snad it to 1.500 grit if it is too grippy for your local conditions. Another option could be a Black Sparkle Partcile Power Groove. This one handles long oil very well, also a good beginners's ball and good performance for the bucks.

Maybe you find, as an alternative to the Nemesis, a Monster Bruiser in close-out? Has the same PK 18 coverstock, but a lower RG and is polished.

If you are unsure, ask your pro-shop of trust and get some professional advice.
