I'm looking for comparisons between the two for those of you who have thrown both. I have a Smokin and know of an unbelievable deal I get get on a Classic green pin. Let me know your thoughts on them and a comparison please.

How can you knock a ball that still makes you happy in the pants after six months?

Get it.  Depending on how your smokin is drilled, you could drill the Zone to roll a little earlier and maybe scuff up the cover if need be.  The zone is lower RG, not to mention aysmmetric.  SO you can use those two things to convince yourself to get it.  Everyone needs a new ball.

Maybe you sanded it by hand with 100 grit sandpaper like here? http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=108630&ForumID=17&CategoryID=5

From my personal experience, My Smokin has well over 30 games on it and is the best ball I've ever owned period. Don't contribute if you don't have anything constructive to say.

I have had my Smokin since Sept and put about 40 games on it. I have tired it at 1000 Abralon, 2000 Abralon, 1000 with High Gloss (currently at) and all have given me 3 different looks/reactions all of which good. There are about 6 guys in our Classic league that use theirs exclusively and love it. I use mine when I need  little extra length and backend (Rampage drilled similar picks up a bit sooner due to surface prep).

Back to the main question if drilled the same, ZC should pick up sooner, Smokin will have more on the backend (Activator vs. Activator Advance). If the chance to get it is there, go for it!
