Fall Leagues....
« on: July 24, 2009, 07:58:41 AM »
Was just wondering how many leagues you bowled in last year and if you planned on bowling more or less this year?

Also type of leagues do you bowl in mixed leagues...etc and how long have you been bowling.

I have been bowling 20 years this season and bowled in 2 leagues last year both mixed due to lack of mens leagues in my area and plan on doing 2 again this year.

Thanks for all of your responses!

I bowled in 1 last fall full time. Alternate/6th man on another night.

This fall/winter season two full time leagues, two different houses.

I am going on my 5th year bowling now and am going on my second year in adult leagues. Both leagues i'm bowling in the fall are handicap mens leagues, one is the premier league in town but due to a not great overall bowling community its not that hard to get into it.

Last year I bowed 3 leagues.

3 scratch leagues one of which was a PBAx league.

This year I'm bowling in the same 3 leagues.

Just planning on one this coming season. It's a men's league that allows women. It's about 95% male.  League average is about 205.

i'll be bowling in a scratch men's league on wednesdays this fall. this house has laneshield over old wood lanes. i'll also be bowling in a mixed league on saturday nights. this too is in a wood house but the lanes are only 30 years old and in excellent condition. i'll be using brunswick equipment exclusively.
