Looking for info ... likes/dislikes regarding the Goliath.
I'm trying to decide between the Goliath and a few other balls (Black Widow, Domination, Epic Battle).
I am a 60 year old stroker with medium speed and revs.
Any info would be appreciated.

Excellent ball for when the lanes are fresh and you need to play straighter angles. Definitely not for when the lanes break down!

I had the most success playing the extreme outside on wet/dry shorter patterns.

The ball may be alittle strong if you throw the ball somewhat slower, under 16 mph... It doesn't really shine well either. From what I have heard, I would suggest a Black Widow for you, but if you bowl on a really wet shot and can't get the ball to move then perhaps the Goliath may be for you.

Lionheart,

If your looking for a smoother, even reaction I would try the BVP Ambush over the Goliath. The Goliath really needs to see some oil to be at its best, or you would need above average ball speed. The Ambush, with it's lower load of particle than the Goliath, would still be more predictable than most reactives, yet get down the lane with much more ease than a highler load particle like the Goliath is.

i use the goliath dull for when the lanes are wet/dry. it lets me throw the ball with very firm speed and pretty straight. this ball needs oil or it will hook early or hook and quit.
