Comparing Nirvana to DV8 Thug Unruly
« on: January 10, 2016, 07:13:12 PM »
I won a Nirvana for a high game pot today. How should I use it to complement the Thug Unruly, which is currently the strongest piece in my bag?

The Nirvana easily by a good 4-6 boards.  :)

The Nirvana creates more friction and hooks several feet earlier.  It works well in situations  where there is plenty of oil or you need to smooth out wet/dry reactions.  Plan accordingly.

Punch it up with your favorite layout and save it for heavier shots... Especially sport oil, when they flood it?
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

My Nirvana surprisingly gets through the fronts and hits the corner pretty hard for a hook monster.  It should be a nice compliment to your Unruly when you want to see a similar amount of hook but a sharper motion on the back end.

What kind of drilling do you have on it? That would be exactly the type of motion I am looking for.

I believe that it is 60x5x40 with a pinner P2 hole to balance it out.
That puts the pin above my bridge with the cg about half an inch right of my switch thumb and I have the surface at 4k to push it a little further down the lane as most of the surfaces in my area are pretty worn.
