Danger Zone Fitting In
« on: September 19, 2008, 08:21:33 AM »
Have been shopping around for a new ball because I just can't seem to find a decently strong ball that has a smooth arc. My current equipment is in my profile. I recently saw a Danger Zone online for a decent price. I was wondering how that ball would react on today's conditions and if it could fit the bill for what I am looking for.

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken the Danger Zone was a PK18 coverstock. Dull to shiny it seems quite versatile. Newer balls with the same coverstock would be the Nemesis, Wizard, and Copperhead, as well as the Avalanche solid.

I'd be concerned that any Danger Zone that's still around might have 5,000,000,000,000 games on it, though.

i have a danger zone remake @ 1000 abralon and it is a heavy rolling, hard hitting monster.  it would roll earlier than the stuff you have now. and i also know when shined up it rolls nice too. but as notclay mentioned the PK18 is VERY versatile.

I don't have a Danger Zone but I do have a Command Zone ARC that's rolling great for me so don't be afraid to get an "older" ball..

I am still using my original Danger Zone and it handles medium oil fairly well.
