Completing Brunswick Arsenal
« on: November 02, 2015, 06:49:22 PM »
Getting back into bowling after taking last 7-8 years away.  Currently have the following balls.

-Original Fury
-Total Inferno
-Classic Zone (Red Pin)
-Groove Urethane

Definitely need to fill the gap between the Total and Red Pin.  Was considering an Intrigue.  Any thoughts?

Also, any other thought on a 6th ball to round out the arsenal?

Get something in the lower end price point to be above the red pin as ball motion has increased quite a bit since the fury.

And why not get a higher end ball?  Like a mastermind.

Also, since you have been away big B has 2 new sister brands...Dv8 and Radical..
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Yeah, that's part of my problem.  Really like my Total Inferno and have big gap to the Red Pin.  Looking at the Intrigue, but not sure if it may be too close to the total.

The Intrigue will go longer and turn much harder when it finds friction than the Total Inferno.  I'd recommend the Brute Strength (pin down) with the shine barely knocked off.  It will go longer than the Total Inferno with a strong, but smoother-type finish.

The Brute Strength is an every day ball for most house shots, and would likely be the first out of your bag.  Sometimes the higher priced releases get all the buzz, but this ball is REALLY, REALLY GOOD!

Lane has the right idea here.  A Brute Strength or a Soul should fill the void you are looking to take care of.  I also like the Soul.  Both balls do a good job of handling everyday house patterns without being too strong.

The LT-48 is a fantastic ball.  I highly recommend.
