congratulations lynda barnes !
« on: July 30, 2004, 08:06:59 PM »
lynda barnes and carolyn dorin-ballard won the doubles event at this years wibc tournament in wichita. lynda was a brunswick pro staffer before she retired to concentrate on her family and i'm sure she's still using brunswick equipment since her husband knows a little about brunswicks equipment..............

From what I heard, CDB has been throwing Brunswick lately as well...

Unless Carolyn is now a free agent, the terms of her ball staff contract with Ebonite require her to use Ebonite equipment exclusively.

So, if it's true that she's throwing Brunswick, then Ebonite must not have renewed her contract.  If they didn't renew hers, it's a pretty safe bet they didn't renew any of the ladies contracts.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the info, BrunsRicH.

Who are you?

Wow, that really sucks.  You're with a company for years, and you can't even get a straight answer as to whether or not you have a job...

I wish I'd learned of this a couple of days ago.  I saw Bob Brust at a Demo Day yesterday, and I would have asked him if he knew the status of the PWBA staff contracts.
