Considering buying an Absolute
« on: November 30, 2005, 05:08:42 PM »
I've got the Smokin Inferno in my bag drilled 2L, and the storm Paradigm in my bag as well. I bowl on first shift medium oil, and then a second shift league with broken down heads.

I would like to know what to expect from the Absolute. I want a ball that is considerably earlier than the Smokin, and something that will let me throw faster and not be so speed sensitive. I'm a high track, medium rev, medium speed stroker. I'm considering the 2E drilling on the absolute, even though brunswick says not to because I'll track over the thumb holes. I'm kind of wary against a 1E, or 1L drilling since I don't want to see it burn up.

Any suggestions? Anyone have the absolute and what drilling do you have? Results?

i have a Smokin' Inferno drilled 2E and an Absolute Inferno drilled 2E. Why i have 2 balls drilled the same way i dont know. the Absolute is a beast i can't keep it on the lane i need to add polish. The Smokin works pretty good on house shot i like it. I dont like 2E layout, my ball driller doesn't care he just wants money so he drills everything the same i dont think hes ever payed attention to how i bowl. i hate 2E u might like it but im stuck w/ it.

  • Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!

I am also a high tracker and medium revs and medium speed. I have a AI and I love mine. Mine is drilled for Max flare and strong backend. Let know one tell you this ball is not for carry down.I have mine for this condition.I throw mine between the 4 and 5 arrow. You will not be disappointed with this ball.Everyone I know that have this ball just love there Absolute Inferno. Whatever you do get it drilled strong.
