Not to be dumb, but I read somewhere that the covers had the same aggressive-reactive cover that was found on the Fuze line..

The Rattler has the Activator from the Inferno on it and the Wildride, I believe, has a brand new cover.

Yes, the cover on the Wild ride is a new one (ConneXion), and the cover on the Rattler is Activator.

Hey Notclay,
Have you had a chance to throw both of these balls yet. If you have, with what results and how did you have them laid out. Thanks for the info!
-
I've only thrown them a few games each.
Rattler drilled Rico and I LOVE what I'm seeing so far. This ball is waaaaaaay underpriced!
Think of the Wild Ride as a Twisted Fury on steroids. Same core, but a stronger cover that cuts through carry-down better. I drilled this one about 4" from PAP below the fingers. This is my old stand-by layout because I typically see plenty of oil, and don't want the ball too jumpy on the back end.
What a great pair these two are! The Rattler is slightly cleaner through the heads, and the Wild Ride will handle a bit more oil.
Stay tuned. After I throw them a few more times I will post a formal review.

I dont have much experience with Brunswick equipment but just drilled up a Wild Ride. So far the only thing I can compare it to is a Black Widow Venom. Similar roll off the spot but MUCH more midlane. Used it on Kegal's Beatn Path and it made that shot look like a house wall. It cut through the heavier volume in the middle like it wasnt even there.
Heres the layout 60x30x5.5 http://members.cox.net/bluerrpilot/wildride2.JPG
