Cracked balls

So my car broke down at school this weekend and when I went home to get parts and left my balls in my car. They were there for about 2 days and t was about 30 degrees at night and 70 during the day and my python and siege and spare ball cracked. Does anyone think big b would replace thebsiege and python?

you could try but I dont think so.. thats a big weather change.. that is 1 maine reason that causes balls to crack

i doubt you'll receive any financial assitance. modern bowling balls do not like extreme changes in weather.

Why should they change your balls because you f*cked up?

If you left your computer in the car in hot weather and the sun melted the cover, would you even THINK of contacting the manufacturer?

I don''''t know how car insurance works in the US, but here in Europe it would be certainly worth a try to contact the insurance company (if you have the right insurance policy). I think perhaps you have to have the maximum insurance cover, though.

YES I DO....  If you bought these at a pro shop within the last year, I don't see any problem...

And since both are new releases, again I don't see any problem...

As long as there is no lane damage, again I don't see any problem...

We get bowling balls in that have cracked, and as long as there is no sign of lane damage that may have cause the cracking,  again I see no problem...

I do not see anything on Brunswick's box stating the balls are  not cover between 30-70 degrees...  All I see is don't exceed 125 degrees...

I see no warning about the 30-70 degree zone....

Therefore I see no problem with sending these balls back...

However I do believe is it TRUE that today's ball can crack if they go from one low or high temp to fast..... Gradual temp change is the safest..

Now since your posting on BR,  my wild guess is you bought these online...
Cause most people who buy their balls from a pro shop, would have already contacted their pro shop, instead of posting on BR...

JLS is correct, Brunswick does not have any listed stipulation that negates warranty based on your issue. Of course it's never ever a good idea to submit your equipment to such poor treatment...LOL, but it happens. You should return the balls to the shop you purchased them at and have them handle the warranty process. If you bought them on line you will have to deal with that headache on your own.

Anyway, jls is right -- take the ball back to shop where purchased and let them deal with it. It doesn''t matter if it''s Brunswick or any other manufacturer.

wow i havent read this in a while but problem is solved and i love how car insurance got brought into this haha i guess bowling balls and car insurance could get mixed up............ by retards
