Looking 4 new ball..
« on: November 03, 2003, 01:07:52 PM »
I have pro active zone ball. I had it for about 4 years or so.
It used to hook a lot but even after washing it or polish it...
the backend is weak and hitting power is all gone.
It hits like a noodle...
I haven't regularly bowl for 3 years or so..
Before my official average was up 190s but now my average is down to 160.
No pin reaction, no pin carry and leaves too many ten and four pins.
When it enters 1-3 pocket it doesn't strike as much as it enters 1-2.
I always used 1-3 pocket before.

Which ball would anyone recommend..?  Thanks..

overall best ball right now as far as brunswick goes, is the inferno. (in my opinion). Depends a lot on the conditions of your house lanes though. The inferno is great for medium oily to light oily, the raging inferno is good for really oily, and the new blazing is supposed to be the ball for dry lanes. I think the Original Inferno is the most versatile of the three. But im prejudiced, its the ball I reccomend to everyone. lol

Whiel I agree with  no1bucsfan about the Inferno, please be aware that its look and ball path are as different as night and day from the Proactive Zone (which has probably absorbed many ounces of oil and is the main reason it is dead), The proactive zone was intended for VERY HEAVY oil. The Inferno is for Medium-light to medium-heavy oil. It goes long and snaps like rabid tornado. Pins fly every which way.
