Danger Zone Black Ice
« on: September 06, 2005, 08:39:10 AM »
Hi, my boyfriend's black ice bowling ball got stolen yesterday. That was his favorite ball. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy another one? I know it's a discontinued ball, but I was hoping someone has either a 15 or 16lbs one laying around that they might want to sell. Or maybe a bowling alley they go to has one for sale. A brand new one would be awesome but that probably wont happen. Please if anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I really want to surprise him by finding him another black ice. Email me at March3193@hotmail.com Thanks alot!

I wish you luck on that one!

Somebody may have a used one lying around, but I doubt you'll find a NIB.

i got one.  but I still use it.  The rampage looks similar as long as you don't drill it too strong.  A bruiser would be comparable as well.  I am selling a 16lb Sage Quantum which also uses a PK18 pearl coverstock, low rg core and is from the same era.  Just that I live in Vancouver, Canada..

sorry not to clarify.  The sage quantum has been drilled and used.  Its used, but I am willing to sell it.  Still hooks and finishes.  Haven't thrown it on quite some time though...

if he is interested in a NIB danger zone black...

http://www.bowlingballmall.com

has them at a somewhat reasonable price.

the site is run by professionall bowlers, mostly from the defunct WPBA.

good luck!

I take it that http://www.bowlingballmall.com dosn't update their site very often.  Under the "just arrived" section they have a Throttle Up and an Ego.  Wow....

they have the strike zone and the smokin inferno.
maybe the webmaster has little attention to detail with removing the "new" from 2-3 year old products.
