Slingshot Cover Finish
« on: October 18, 2011, 12:39:11 AM »
All I can seem to find is it is PK17 w/ High Gloss.  Does anyone know the finish or steps of the cover?

Is it at 4000, 2000, etc?

Thanks

The finishing steps used are 500, Rough Buff, then High Gloss.

Thanks.

That seems strong. Regardless of the polish.

Anybody play with the cover at all?

I tried mine at several different surfaces.  I did not like it dull at all.  I prefer it taken in steps up to 2,000 and then Factory Finish polish a time or two depending on how it looks.  All by hand, I do not have a spinner.  It does not seem as shiny as out of box but is no where close to dull.
