« on: September 09, 2007, 11:01:21 AM »
Just got word today that Avalanches will be pushed back to January, to focus all efforts on TZone/P.Groove production.

I guess I'll live.  Right now I'm having too much fun with the Fury Pearl and Blast Zone.  Actually, every time I pick up my Power Groove and move outside it's a good game, too.  What to do, do, do...

Viz A Balls/Vapors are fully stocked down here.

Only isolated issues with some P.Grooves, and certain TZone weights/colors.

Maybe Brunswick should start to out source their production to another country!!  Oh wait, They already did....Why so many problems with this company. I personally love their balls, but I have had more than a few customers unhappy with having to wait for product. They have moved to other companies. I like selling Brunswick becasue I know the customer will be happy with the results of their purchase. I just don't know sometimes with other stuff. Hey Rico, why don't you move to Mexico and help them with production...LOL!!!  Just kidding guys...I know these delays will hurt them though.  Beans

Yeah all that yielded me was a wrist that is completely useless even with 14lb equipment..  Let the 2 handed release experiment commence!  I guess this is kind of good news, maybe by then I will actually have gotten my interest back in bowling and MAYBE have figured out a release that doesn't make me want to spend the night in the bar instead of on the lanes (due to pain)

Off topic, but is that really all you do?

I'm in pretty good shape, I keep it simple.

During the season I keep the impact on my slide knee to a minimum, so cario on tuesday/saturday, league night is thursday. Offseason, its 3 days a week.

I usually do chest excercises every workout, whether it be cable cross overs or bench press, whatever im in the mood for that day. Its been a lot of cable cross overs because im looking to define the inner chest. Chest size and definition is lacking on my body, I think its just genetics, but im able to build arm size very easily compared to chest.

Bicep curls are a must, whether its dumbbells or a barbell with 10 lbs weights on each end with your hands in the middle, or a isolation sitdown machine, again, whatever im in the mood for.

I do squats the least frequent during the season, as I want to keep my legs fresh, if I were to do them, it would be saturday.

I mix in tricep pull downs, and deltoid exercises as extra to fill in my workout if I miss anything above.

I've been pretty successful in shaving down my body fat by cutting out 50% of the meat in my diet, and eating smart, not just when im hungry. Ive lost 20 pounds since january.

The important part is, eat smart, and get familiar with the excercises you want to do to get the results you want. I'm not into the whole "im doing this and that today" I just do what I feel like after I'm done with cardio.

Hope this helps you find your way into an excercise routine.

Diet and exercise is different depending on your goals.  If you want to lose some weight, increase flexibility, increase muscular endurance, etc, crossfit is very good.  check out http://www.trainforstrength.com , they have some workouts posted on the site for free and it shows you how to do some of the exercises if you don't know how.  I keep it simple too, I used to train complete body 2 days a week, cardio (HIIT) 2 days a week, and friday(mix it up, work on some full body stuff like sets of burpees (AKA squat thrusts in the millitary), bear crawls, stretching, core conditioning.  Weekends off.  Have to get back to it, as I got out of it for about 1 1/2 years and packed on some serious weight.  Diet is crucial, crucial.  Eat healthy and smart.  For me, I eat 1-2 eggs and then 2 hours later fruit.  lunch low fat meat and lots of veggies, fruit snack later, then dinner.  I dropped 30 lbs in less than 6 months doing this.  PS.  take a mult-vitamin too.
