Quick success with Versa Max
« on: February 08, 2012, 01:19:55 AM »
Drilled the Versa Max on Monday. Threw it in league that night, 268, 268, 237 for 773. Last night in league at a different center 257, 267, 247 for 771. This ball really is something that Brunswick has not had before. This ball has a great chance to become my favorite ball. Once I get a few more games on it and get a chance to compare to other balls I will do a formal review. This is drilled 30x5x75 with a hole on my PAP.

in my opinion, the 4.5 was mis-marketed. you were led to believe that it was stronger than it actually was. what you got was a great piece for medium or broken down conditions. i still use mine when needed with great success. i hope the versa max is what big b says it's going to be, because i think it's going to be a benchmark piece that they've been missing for a while.

I thought the same of my 4.5.

I use it as my benchmark ball in my 2 leagues.

I have it at 1000 with Rough Buff and it has been a winner so far.
