Fury Drilling

I am looking for a drill layout for my new fury.  I am wanting this ball for nationals in reno.  I am a high ball speed med revs bowler with a 4 1/2 x 1 Pap

Anyone got any thoughts.  I am thinking of a controlled layout with early midlane reaction and readible backend.

i would drill that ball with pin above the fingers and the pin 5-6in from pap

i had a fury drilled pin down and didn't like it pluged it and redrilled to this drilling and it was better

My fury is drilled pin under ring and I found it to be very controllable. It reads the midlane really well and has a nice arc on the backend, nothing too snappy. It is the drilling 2E that is on the drilling sheet that comes with the ball.

To reiterate what DeadFlush said, consider drill pattern on the Fury very carefully, based on your revs, speed, and where you want the ball to pick up it's roll.

I just had my second Fury drilled up this last weekend. I went with a stacked drill, with the pin slightly to the right of my ring finger, x-hole in the thumb quadrant.

Much better read than my first, where the pin was on the vertical grip beneath the fingers. While I liked the roll, I'm not sure I would call this a 'heavy oil' ball. On the same fresh THS shot, and throwing the same line, my Super Carbide Bomb was about 6 boards stronger. Regardless, the Fury has a nice controlled reaction, and will have a place in my over crowded arsenal for heavier medium patterns.
