Thanks Guys. I didn't realize how loud the house had the music until too late but the audio improved a bit as we got into it.
I have to agree the Massive is definitely the sleeper. If most folks haven't realized by now, it's the "low end" equipment that will be posting the big scores while others struggle with the "big guns". The competition is getting fierce in the entry level side of things.
As far as seeing a difference between equipment, you're right. It is generally hard to see a difference between balls on a typical house pattern. You can get most balls to the pocket within a few boards of each other. The real trick is carry. It is the nuances of ball reaction that need to be closely visualized or described. That's part of the reason why I had Eric do the interview. I wanted to let folks know what differences he was seeing. I also use Digitrax analysis which is available on my site for most balls I review.
