Title: Difference in looks between the soft and HARD Blazing Inferno.
Post by: Loudstriker on July 13, 2005, 03:13:25 AM
Is there a difference in looks between a regular and HARD Blazing Inferno? I got a Blazing Inferno HARD by mistake and so I sent it back and got the normal version. There is no doubt that it is a different ball but how can I tell if it is HARD of normal without drilling it and throwing it? It didn't come with drilling instructions like the HARD where it said Blazing Inferno HARD.

From what I have been told from my ball rep the softer balls are more orange in color than the hard ones which are more red than orange.

Mine had a massive splash of orange on the back of it that trickles down the sides. The part around the pin is more of a light red where the other ball which I was told was the HARD had a more deep red.

Yeah, the hard version was a deep red, whereas the softer version was lighter with some orange.

The HARD cured too long and as an effect has a harder coverstock which makes it go too long and have less hook.
