Brunswick X-outs are hard to find and usually sell quick. The only ones I've ever seen were of the smokin inferno. And I got it from bowlingball.com
Pro Pins and Pro CGs have been around for a long time by columbia/amf/track as bonanza balls and later became x-outs which they could sell for more then the bonanza stuff.(just like x-out golf balls) Other companies such as Ebonite and Brunswick also sold them under different labels such as Hurricane, and Regency. Brunswick I'm guessing mainly pimps that stuff over seas.
ProPin and ProCG became a smart selling term used by bowlingball.com to sell X-outs at higher prices. Usually a little cheaper then the first quality ball, but still a higher price then if they said X-out. Yes pros and others alike can use balls with further pins for different patterns and they also work well for people with longer spans.
Then with new balls having Mass Bias launched the era of pro CG. Which I've had a few from Ebonite, the ball is the same only with the X-out logo in small print. I have a Track DeltaRule x-out/pro cg and Ebonite The One x-out/pro cg with the cg in the palm, the pin under the right finger, and the MB around or below my positive axis point and they roll incredible. Most people see the ball and say "oh, I would never drill that". But then they see the ball roll and want to get one. It's a strong MassBias position that gets the ball to start rolling around midlane and never stops hooking. I love them, I also buy them off ebay for around $60-$70 because $109 for an x-out is not a good deal in my opinion.
Plus one of the guys I've talk with on staff with Brunswick said things have been coming slow out of the new Mexico facility. They were behind on getting out Fury Pearls and the Avalanche Series.
