Fury---Is this ball just GREAT or what?
« on: July 26, 2007, 04:05:05 PM »
It's been a long time now, since my original Inferno, since I have had a ball that rolled this true for me.

I haven't had this much confidence in a ball since then.  My Inferno was good ( still is ), but my Fury ( with polish ) plays almost the same line, but with that extra "POP" in the backends to get those pesky corners out.

After two 4 game sets, I am averaging 244.75, and it's my own fault that it isn't more.

If I ever cut out those "brain-fart" shots, I might be like little Nicky and get that average up over the 250 mark!

Thanks Big "B".  Guess I'm back now.

P.S.   Does this mean I have to change my I.D. back to BrunSlinger?

If the bowlers only knew how versatile this ball can be, they'd be out buying another one.

BOTH of mine are exactly what I want in a ball. They are drilled differently and have different surfaces, but when used on the appropriate conditions, they hit very hard.

The 800-grit surface was strong for some bowlers, but hit the surface with varying degrees of abralon and/or polish, and the ball becomes a "first-out-of-the-bag" for many of us.

Yeah, it's a great ball, anywhere, any time.  It's incredibly versatile, and it has a really clean reaction on the backend, I had an 800 with it first night I used it.  It'll always give you a look when nothing else is working.

Mine is great. I tried it with OOB condition and it was just a little too strong. Put the ball away and thought about what to do with it to make it more of what I was looking for. Decided to try it at 1000 Abralon and the ball worked great. Ball was exactly what I was looking for.

Thinking about getting another one and adding rough-buff to the OOB condition.

Not to be rude or anything but did that last post make any sense? I use equipment from five different companies and I think the Fury is a great ball. Very smooth and very versatile.

I had to read it a couple times, but yeah, it makes sense.  If it was the Track Fury, Track fans would probably all like it.  If it was the Storm Fury, all the Storm heads would probably like it.  That's the point though, isn't it?  Each ball company has a certain "look" or reaction type, and people stick with certain companies because the equipment reacts well for them.

That may be true for the brand loyal but not for all. That's my only point. It sounded like a blanket statement. When I was brand loyal to Track I didn't like every ball they released. I guess that's just me.
