Ultimate Inferno

I purchased a Ultimate Inferno about 6 weeks ago and its been giving me a lot of problems. When I roll the ball down the lane, the ball does not pull back into the pocket and it keeps going rolling down but giving this little hook at the end. What is the problem? Any suggestions will do, thank you.

I have this ball and absolutely hate it.

But....what is the surface grit of the ball?  If it's too coarse it might be burning up in the heads and not having any energy when it gets to the pins.  You could also be using it on lane conditions its not meant to be used on, so again its burning up.

You might try polishing the ball, which will get to go longer down the lane before it grabs friction.  More energy should be stored, and it will have a greater backend.

How is it drilled? Mine was pin right of ring, cg stacked, 600 grit wet sand,  and was one of my best balls- EVER.

It's a great ball. Do some tinkering with the surface and make sure you've got a good drilling on it.

I wasn't a huge fan of this ball OOB myself.  Although I did shoot 300 and had my highest sanctioned set ever with it.  It was extremely strong, too much ball for me..it just happened that I found a line those 2 days with it.

I had my ball drilled with the pin to the left of the ring, the cg stacked below it and an xhole.  The OOB was too inconsistent for me, so I put it in a ball polisher, and the thing was amazing on a medium oil shot.

I hope you find a way to get this ball to work for you, because I loved all 5 of mine

This ball needs Lots of Oil to Hook. If you want it to hook then Polished the ball. It will give you more Rev then it should hook more. I only used mine on the Sport Shots and this ball hook big time but not on the Medium unless Polished. Good Luck!
