I need a new ball for longer, tighter patterns (ABC Natls, PBA regional Pattern #4).  I'm a medium speed, higher track stroker.  My release has nice roll, but lacks revs for backend recovery and area creation on these shots.

I have a Hammer Big Deal box finish with a 60 deg drilling, pin 3 1/2 from PAP that reacts ok on these patterns, but has too much natural.

I need something before my mid-July pattern #4 regional, and was considering an UI or SZ with a 45-55 deg drilling for earlier roll.  Any opinions on which might be a better fit for my style?

The Strike Zone would be the way to go.  The ball is very early rolling and very strong.  Try to get a larger pin, like 3-4 and try the pin at 4 inches from your PAP and put the PSA at 45 degrees, which should be very strong for you since you're a high track.  Drill the weight hole, below your axis, depending on how much thumb weight you have.  Possibly 2 inches?  This will keep the early roll and create more bite on the backend.
