I was kickin around my local shop today.  I was looking to fill a void in my aresenal.  I needed a med heavy oil ball that i could just flat out wheel.  I had my mind set on a red zone, mostly cause i have had much better luck with the zone series over the infernos but, the red zone that he had in the shop had a two inch pin and the cg was off from mass bias which usually isnt a problem cause i have him weigh it up to find out what is off but this one came out weird so i chucked it back up on shelf.  He suggested the wizard, I was hesitant to say the least cause i had a nemesis a when it irst came out and hated it plus I cant understand how a powerkoil 18 cover with handle todays heavy oil conditions when this cover was on balls about 10 years ago,have the tweaked the formula to make it stronger or was this cover just way ahead of its time.  So I drilled the thing with much reserve.  That said, I must say I was surprised at how strong this ball is.  I drilled this ball with pin one inch under ring and and kicked to left an inch with cg 45 degrees from pin with a nice size balance hole on my val.  I bowled on a pair after league that had no left handers on it so it was a fresh pair.  This ball fit right where i wanted it to.  There was med heavy oil between 10 to 10 and lighter volumes as you get out farther.  This ball started hooking at about a foot past the arrows and didnt stop.  I threw a shot where I normally play with feet at 25 throw 15 at arrows send it out to 6 at break point around 47 foot, it hooked at arrows and took out the 10 pin, I couldnt beleive this.  I then moved my feet to 35 moved target to 20 and it scooted a whole 5 foot farther before it made its move and went high flush.  On this med heavy patterm i didnt need to wory about my speed with this ball cause it would hook,that is a big problem with me is speed issues not with this ball.  It hits quite solid really solid too.  Sends pins everywhere.  It is easily 15 foot sooner than my domination, 5 foot sooner than my spitfire which i have drilled pretty similar and the wizard covers about 15 more boards than the spitfire.   For the money this ball just flat out hooks.  I was very surprised, it is 10 foot sooner than my horizon solid which is drilled similar as well and is 10 boards more.  Ball is easily biggest ball in my bag.  Anyone else have one of these, your thoughts?
