Target Zone "Shifter"

Did anybody pick one of these up when they came out?  I haven't seen or heard anything from anyone.  I'm in the market for a new spare ball and can get one of these at a low price.  Are they everything they're cracked up to be?

The colors sorta phase in an dout depending on the lighting.  I'm not sure what else you've heard about them but it's your basic plastic.

Lefty...is the color change obvious or is it something that you have to work to see?

If your holding it, you can see the color change easily, it's a huge difference but you can see it. Going down it doesn't change.

I had the violet/pink one for a long time till the thumb cracked out.  It's nothing amazing, just a pretty ball, but what else is there to expect from a spare ball.

The color changes are IMHO so so, not that dramatic or flashy as one would expect, and that's probably the reason why the two colors disappeared after only 1 season. Around here, especially the violet one is a 1st choice among women in league. Must have been a hot seller last year, I know 4 female players with the violet one for spares. I have only seen one blue Shifter in real life, though, and it looked pretty, too.
