Another Smokin' story
« on: December 15, 2005, 09:51:47 PM »
Drilled a Smokin' for a friend the other day.  He told me to pick out a ball for him, so I matched him up with the Smokin and the drilling (pin under bridge, cg slightly out), and his first three games with the ball was a league set of 825 Tuesday night, and I heard he ran up a big score Wednesday night too, but I didn't hear the exact number.  The guy's a natural incredible talent, but I believe this is his first 800 of the year, and it completed his ring set for the year, as he also deliberately tried for an 8 count on the last ball of his last game for 298 and got it (he has a couple 300's and 3 299's this year already).

Nice.
I guess a ring set aint complete without that 298 ring. . .

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.
