I realized today that i very rarely have the opportunity to truly see what flying back ends r like anymore. Today i went out to bowl & the back ends were clean enough to eat off of, im talkin NOTHING out there.
I tried everything i had, a dull total inferno stayed somewhat controlled off the break, but died b4 it got to the pins, my lanemasters world class hit the dry & took a u turn to the pocket, worked great, but gave me absolutely zero area. My doom took a HARD left, & i couldnt play right of 18 with it at all.
The only ball i had that stayed somewhat tame was my smokin inferno, 5.5" pin to pap, with a flare reducing weight hole. I cant get this ball to wrinkle half the time, & i could somewhat consistantly play 15 to 5 with it without too much over/under.
Is there anything anyone can suggest for taming flying back ends? My only thought was a mammoth, drilled with the pin about 5" to pap, under fingers, with a ton of polish on it.
Any other ideas?
