Brunswick made a good showing today - 3rd, 4th, 5th. Some observations if I may be permitted:
1. Anyone who needed a definition of 'my ball burning up' only needed to watch Jason Hurd throwing the Raging Inferno. You just can't throw a strong particle ball on a conditon without lots of head oil and a long enough pattern. And I don't care who you are, if you have to cover that many boards AND bring the ball back from the edge, that surface isn't going to get the job done. Inferno would have been a much better choice. Even a dull Inferno if you really think you need some surface. I still haven't found a shot with enough oil to throw my Raging Inferno. Seems to be an oil shortage everywhere I go.
2. Looked like Lonnie was throwing a Bruiser. It looked great when he threw it well. Just didn't look like he was sharp today.
3. Brad Angelo - Too bad he didn't start with the Inferno. It's just a perfect ball on most shots where your shiny reactive is over-reactive and your particle stuff is burning up.
4. Storm was in the hand of the winning bowler, but you really can't credit the 'Ball' when Max-Bob is slinging it. He could score with just about anything. Simply an amazing thing to watch. There ain't much you can do when you're facing a Monster like that who's locked in except pray that he gets stone-9'd to death or leaves a "four through the face" somewhere along the way. Must be incredibly intimidating, although nobody would ever admit to that.
