I've got two of these balls. The coverstock is relatively benign. Strong enough for medium conditions, but not strong enough, on its own to cut thru heavy oil or carrydown. Mine are drilled 4x3 and label-leverage shift(aprox. 4.5 x 5. The ball is strongest with the leverage drill, on light-medium conditions. If you've got a lotta hand, go with the mild drill. But if you're just average with average speed, just go label/lev.
I use my 4x3 as a control ball on quickly drying conditions. Hope this helps.
