Ever heard of any of these rhinos????
« on: September 30, 2006, 05:51:26 AM »
At the bowling alley where I work, I ordered an Absolute. So, I went in the back to get it and saw 3 boxes with "Rhino" on them. Curiosity got me, so I went over and check them out. Inside 1 was a Rhino "EDX", with a purple silver swirl. In another was a Redish colored "TRX" and the last one had a Greenish "TRX" in it. After throughly checking them out, i noticed none of them had been punched up. I later found out that the owner(of the pro shop) had them in the Closet upstairs, thinking they were one-of-a-kinds, so he stored them away.

I have never heard of any such rhinos before. Has anyone else heard of them???

Thanks,
Chrispy

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Since I only throw Infernos, just call me the Flamethrower.

Looking on BowlingBallReviews.com, in the overseas sectiopn, I found the
Rhino TRX
http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=2202
The TRX green
http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=2204
and the EDX
http://www.bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=2207

No idea when they were produced. However, their color scheme says, yells out to me, "Activator"; I suspect they are of recent vintage,

Well Bowl.com lists when they were approved...
TRX - July 2001
TRX 2 - April 2002
EDX - January 2002
