Hello Brunswick faithful...Here is some info about the new Evil Siege and the C-System 3.5 bowling balls.
The Evil Siege introduces Propel Pearl Coverstock. Using the M.A.C.E. core as with the original Seige, the Evil Siege will produce a ball motion that is strong in the mid-lane and aggressive on the backend. This ball is made for medium to oily lane conditions. Surface is 4000 Micro Pad. The color for this ball is Red/Black pearl. RG diff is .056.
The C-system 3.5 intoduces a coverstock that has a higher friction factor the the original C-system. This coverstock quickens the response time, improves down lane traction, and increases the overall hook. Using the I-block core. the C-system 3.5 should be used when a quicker response motion is needed to increase entry angle to the pocket. Surface is 4000 Micro Pad. The color for the ball is Purple/Yellow. RG diff is .050.
More info and a full review is forthcoming.

Will be interesting to see how close Brunswick is getting to Storms reaction. I know they have been working hard at it.

Close, but I have a feeling Storm typically has more length still. I could be wrong and I don't know if that's Brunswick's goal, but they are definitely achieving length and backend compared to most previous releases. And some good ones at that.

I must be missing something. I don't see anywhere where it is noted that this a pearl ball. It doesn't really matter if it is or isn't.
The data sheets for both the C-(System) 3.5 and Evil Siege state this.

Yes...:"2-Color Pearl, Purple / Yellow."
And the Evil Siege data sheet makes several references to the "Propel Pearl" coverstock.

The 2.5 reminds me of a MoRich core, but much cleaner through the heads. We have a major spinner in one of my leagues. The 2.5 looks fantastic in his hands. Without whatever makes the ball do what it does, he looks like a bum. I love how the ball continues through the deck, no matter who's throwing it. It's one of those balls like the original Black Widow or original Cell - it just flat out looks good no matter the style. I don't need one, but I sure want one!
