Avalanche Pearl = beast mode
« on: December 22, 2009, 11:07:53 AM »
Drilled one a few weeks ago with a 3 1/2" Pin to PAP, hole down the VAL. Not sure why I drilled it, but the ball was talking to me one day before league...

End result = POW!

That avalanche line has been pretty darn good.

Ooooh maybe... I haven't practiced in ages. I bowl two leagues and am overwhelmed with everything else going on.

I have really been enjoying my Avalanche Slide on broken down head conditions. Very, very clean through the heads, yet hits hard off the dry.

It seems as though the economic downturn has resulted in dry to light medium oil being the usually encountered lane conditions, medium oil is now a heavy oil pattern. All my really dull coverstock, aggressive core stuff is now in my closet.

Okay BrunsBob - how about an Avalanche Danger for the next release - use that good old core from the Danger Zone - after that, maybe an Avalanche Monster with the Red/Black Monster core. I''ll even suggest the colors, the Avalanche Danger will be a polished black solid with red logos and the Avalanche Monster will be a polished black solid and red pearl. Who knows, customers might even be interested in a hybrid with a low diff. core from Brunswick.

The Brunswick Avalanche Series are a great line with strong performance, and long lasting, low maintenance coverstocks.

I had similar results with my Avalanche Pearl(blue/silver)

Drilled it with the pin 5" from my pap below my right finger and the cg kicked out with a weight hole on my pap.

Wow, the ball hooks and rolls great. Needs a little dry to bump but other then that the ball is no doubt a beast.

brunsnick is long over due for some vids. I also just drilled a Rev Real Speed Pro on the mod rico pattern and the ball is sick. Another great pattern to play with.

also a good post/discussion

I just shot a couple honor scores last week with my Avalance Pearl.  Wife used it for about 15 games and it didn't really do the trick for her, but I knew I could get it to do something for me and sure enough it did.  Great ball.
