temperamental UI
« on: May 03, 2006, 01:09:49 AM »
First thing first I love the ball the roll the pin carry, but the goofy reactions im starting to get with it after a game are becoming irritating.  I mean the THS that im on isnt that heavy, after a game or 3/4 of a game i start to get funky reaction (ball just skating by sometimes).  Right now i have the ball at factory finish, i was thinking of taking it to 500 abralon to help it even out the lack of roll and get a better jump off the dry.  Im just wondering if anyone has expierencecd similiar issues and what they might of done to even it out.

Ive had this happen but for me it wasnt the ball.  It happens when there is carry down or after I warm up my speed will increase if I dont keep tabs on it.

The only thing I can think of ball related, would be if you start with a freshly cleaned or dulled ball, it could start to skid a bit when the track soaks up oil.  Now I havent seen that happen with my Smokin or Scorchin, but ive never owned a UI.

good luck

this is why they changed to the scorching inferno and changed to Activator Max coverstock.

the UI just soaks up oil and get saturated and starts slidding through the break point.

ball is hard to keep fresh, its not a long lasting heavy oil ball... most people plosih it up and use it on medium
