I have mine at the shop marked up but can't decide weather to drill it pin in the palm or how I have it mapped out currently.(4 pin to pap, 45 degrees x 45 degrees)The boss shot 844 with his pin in the palm last night.

Thats the way it used to be. Now PBA members get the equipment along with everyone else. I actually ordered a Columbia Momentum direct from Ebonite 2 days before the release date and was told they where running 3 weeks behind in shipping, I told them to forget it. I then ordered it from  bowlingball.com and paid $5 less than my pba price and had it in my hands in 4 days..

The PBA equipment buying is not what it used to be..

Greg,

I'm glad that it finally arrived.  At least you don't pay retail... Now just drill it and have some fun.
We got our first 8 of them a week ago and can't keep them in the shop.  More coming today to sell.  WHAT A BALL!!

Yea, my pro shop guy said he is having a real hard time finding these.. Why is that? Is Brusnwick that far behind in production? Or is it just Parker Bohn used it on TV and won so now everyone wants one?

Every distributor should have them, unless they didn't order enough to satisfy demand. Have him check another distributor.

he checked both of the local distributors that he uses and could not get a 15... He finally ordered it from a distributor 2 hours away..

Greg, as soon as you drill it and use it a bit, I am anxious to hear how it works on what conditions and any drawbacks and etc., because I am seriously thinking about getting a Twisted some time after January.

the comment that jkiser01 made about pba members buying equipment is one of the reasons i cancelled my membership with the pba. i'll buy my bowling balls from bowling.com or buddiesproshop.com for about the same price and get them a lot quicker.

Every distributor in the country received ALL of their Twisteds. Most have already reordered more and have received those ALSO. One of the shops in my hometown has sold 16 of them already in just 8 days and is having no problems getting more.

Please feel free to explain how Brunswick is "pretty messed up right now".

Where did he say free?  As far as I know, he had to pay for it like the rest of us.  He's just venting because in the past, PBA members were able to get the equipment several weeks before the rest of us and at a good price.  Now, the price is about the same as online, and the release dates are about the same also.  The benefits of the old days are pretty much gone.

hEY....i just watched the video!

Impressive piece!!

AND whoever is throwing it....he's awesome!
If he's not good enough to be on tour...nobody is!

If that is Bill Orlikowski...I'd heard he threw it great!

Great comparison between the Twisted and Fury pearl.

I see why Brunswick is excited about this piece of great engineering!

I'm not certain how reliable this source is but the real reason that the latest shipment of TF's is late is because Ebonite called Brunswick on the carpet about labeling the Mexico-produced balls with "Made in Mexico" logos.  What's worse?  Brunswick not labeling them or Ebonite blowing the whistle on them?  Wouldn't that be something that's pretty easily monitored by customs?  Wait, that would mean we'd actually be watching our borders for illegal contraband.  Silly me.

FWIW, the info came from a distributor in the upper Midwest.
