Title: Fire Quantum Help
Post by: Sir Bowl-A-Lot on September 08, 2004, 05:20:26 AM
I am curious if anyone knows the exact RG and Diff for a 15# Fire Quantum.  Also, does anyone have the January 1996 Bowling This Month which reviews the Fire Quantum?

Thank you but I still need to know what the exact RG and Diff are on this ball.

I don't remember where I gathered this information - it's been a while, but the differential is not that high - 0.032. The RG was supposed to be in the low 2.5 range, say around 2.51 or 2.52. I have both a Bruiser and a Fire Quantum drilled almost identically, and the Bruiser flare rings are farther apart than the Fire Quantum's, which verifies the differential figure. The balls reaction leads me to believe that the RG figure isn't much different than the Bruiser's either.

What will this ball want to do on the lane since it has a low RG and low Diff?

Imagine a polished Bruiser with a little less flare? That's the best I can describe for you.
