Title: First 700 with new Rampage!!
Post by: andy257 on February 02, 2006, 03:54:31 AM
Finally nailed that 700 series after being stuck on 678 for 2 and a half years! Got scores of 252, 212 and 259 for a 723. The 259 also beat my highest score by 2 pins (which included getting 8 strikes in a row for the first time).

Decided to stop trying to force myself to get more revs and tried a more relaxed release, which I think helped me get a stronger and more consistent release in the end. Hopefully it'll continue like that now.

Also the Rampage was awesome! It hit so hard that I left far fewer single pins than I ever have done in a 3 game set. If you're anything like me, then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Rampage for medium oiled lanes.

Great job Brunswick!

Great job.

The Rampage really is a great ball. The Rampage is one of those balls that I will either start out with or goto if the Vapor Zone hasnt been working for me. Brunswick knew what they were doing with the Best Value Performance line.

What's going on?? 181, 268, 259 for a 708 series! Maybe a drugs test is in order!

Felt a lot easier to achieve this time round, a lot is due to one of my friends getting me to realise to settle down between shots. I had the front 8 in the second game and although I left a single pin in the 9th frame I didn't feel nearly as nervous as I normally would have done.
