Well, i dropped off all my stuff at the shop yesterday (groove, ultimate, bruiser and speed are all being plugged), and was able to have the pimp zone and screamr drilled up. Tried it out today in league, and though the finger holes didn't have any bevel, so i had a bit of fun dealing with that, for me, this thing was a backend beast whenever i got sideroll on it. I actually couldn't control it, so i switched to the zone and slowed the speed down. The pin is in my ring finger, and if my pap hasn't changed, that's about 5.5" from my PAP. I'm not sure where all the backend is from, especially since i consider myself a power stroker/low end tweener. BK says that i have as many revs as him but i doubt that, since that'd put me up around cranker level with around 400rpm. One of is insane...........
But basically, i was not expecting this ball to have so much backend. From my limited experience with it, this ball clears the heads easily and just saves everything for the backend. Yay for opening the lane up.
What did everyone else think of their screamrs? Am i the minority here, or were they backend monsters for everyone else?

The only guy I know with one throws a full roller, and I was quite surprised to see how much backend it had. What little I know about the ball suggested that it was more of a control ball.

Yeah, that's what i was expecting. Same thing with the slayr. People always talked about how the slayr was an arcing control ball for dry, but the ones i've seen snapped like a mofo.
I'm actually glad, because now i have a true lane-opening ball.

I'll be interested to see how the ScreamR compares to the Power Groove. The PG's are very good for opening the lane and hook more than most people first thought.

IME the Power Grooves are pushier in front, and harder off of the break. The ScreamR has more of that mid-90s "Zone" type roll, but with less overall hook.

Well we'll see, when i pick up the groove. I'll be making comparitive vids, and normal vids of all my stuff, so....
