Well, the 1st official night out with the Alpha Max, I have to say it was a success. The ball visually reminds me of the Roto Cell, the original. With that being said, the roll was very similar as well, just think of a Cell on 'roids! On the lanes it surprised me with how much backend movement it got. I have a problem get the ball to start up early due to my ball speed. So knowing this, I hit the ball with a used 2000 pad. I like this finish on most of my equipment, due to the taming on the backends. Even with the added surface the ball had excellent recovery, and it was almost still flippy! I bowl on a longer USBC white pattern. Several times I thought I sailed the ball too far into the OB, and time and time again, she rolled up hard. Due to operator error and due to me not wanting to put the ball away, I managed a 661 series. I want to get a few more games in before I post an official review of this ball.

Lane Play
Lane Condition: USBC White Pattern
Area of Lane played: Started out playing right around 20, out to about 8. Was inside of everyone by about 5 boards, at the arrows, and outside of everyone at the break point by 2-3 boards. As the night continued just gradually moved in as the night continued, keeping the same break point. Ball was reading the lanes very well, drove hard through the pocket very hard, so the continuation is there. Getting to the 3rd game, I knew I should have switched to my Wicked Siege to get a more realistic and consistent line. But started out with the front 5, so it was hard choice, and decided to stick with what was working. Started to catch some carry down from everyone finally.
Got Revs?
