Wicked Layouts?

Looks like some good success with the Wicked. Out of curiosity, what layouts and surface preps are you using?

3 5/8 X 4 with no buffer and a P2 hole at box finish LOVE the ball. My pap is 3 3/16 out by 5/8 up and Im a lefty.

45*4.5*40, 2000 abralon.  See my profile for a picture if it helps.  I love the 2000 abralon surface.  Still get the easy length through the heads, but now the ball finishes down lane much more predictably.

Fran,

Your Drill angle AND VAL angle is not related to anyone else's at random, but to those with the same or similar tilt, ball speed, rev rate and rotation. You should not be asking for general drillings but for specifics for your delivery specs.

My suggestion: go to BowlingBallVault.com and ask Mo.

As charlest said, you must use layouts and surface to cater to your own stats.

However, I've got one at 50 by 5" by 50 (4000 abralon)and another with 70 by 2" by 30 (OOB)

My Wicked Siege has the pin placed right next to my ring finger. This places the pin appx. 4 1/2 inches from my PAP. The cg is 3 1/2 inches straight down from the pin and the PSA is down below and to the right of the thumbhole. This is a typical drilling pattern for me.......I've used this type of drilling on my most of my equipment for the last 15 years or so. The surface on the ball is 1,000 Siaair micropad and highly polished.

Understood... What i was driving at was to see a trend in terms of pin strength etc. You can get a general idea from that. Agree rev rate, tilt, speed make a big difference in reaction. However, I've found over time drilling for customers that some balls react well in general terms within certain parameters. So, i was wondering if this might be the case for the Wicked.
