You are correct in regards to the individual, but basing actuality for the masses is not...more times than not what the eyes see is not actually what is occurring. Surface dictates basically everything and if individuals read past the hype and understand that if the part of the bowling ball touching the lane is not matching up or slowing down correctly, all the numbers mean nothing...as well as how little the actual numbers really translate...one should not base statements as fact when they are partially fact for the individual

But education is such a hard row to hoe, when many, if not most of us, have been lead "down the garden path", erroneously for so many years. It is all too late for many, to take advantage of the knowledge provided to us now, by such as yourself, on web sites, like this. The number of educated people who can see what a ball does is even more limited in our local centers. I can't even begin to tell you the huge number of people who believe they hit the "pocket" when the ball hits the 1 pin and 3 pin. An even greater number can't say what their breakpoint is or if they've even hit their target at the arrows.

I consider us fortunate with the internet to be able to talk with industry greats and learn more then we would have had the chance to only a few years ago.

I've got to ask JustRico about the Rico pattern and other layouts I needed help with. Mo Pinel has anserwed questions before on layouts, coverstocks ect. (also easy to piss Mo off lol if it isn't "his" idea your mentioning for something.)

Got to ask Danny Wiseman about a layout I always heard referred to as the "Wiseman" layout from his Hammer days later called the PBA Plastic ball Layout. Brunsnick has been helpful with questions along with Tom Tomaras from Brunswick.

The information available is awesome.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.
