Terrific software, assuming you take the time after every frame to put the correct information into the device. I use it sometimes on a Palm m515, works great. There is NO support anymore as Tim Wilkinson, who authored it originally, gave it up.

Great for keeping track of which spares you left (shows you percentages), which spares you missed, how many pocket hits you had etc. etc.

But, like any computer software, it only works as well as the information you put into it and how consistently you input the info. Garbage in, Garbage out, says the old IBM engineer!!!

dicnic,  thanks for the info.  I have DL the trial version and waiting for the next tournament to try it out.

Does it keep track of the balls used at each house, and strike % with each ball?

Thanks

If, we are talking Frames software.  http://www.warilysoftware.com/

It is supported and sold. Not sure who Tim Wilkinson is and dicnic must be talking another software or an earlier version.

I use Frames on a iPAQ2495 and like it a lot.

Rod Smith developed FRAMES and continues to support and enhance a GREAT product endorsed by Walter Ray Williams himself!

^^^^^^^^RevZ is correct Rod Smith developed and still supports FRAMES. I bowl with him in my Tues. league. I tried it out for a while and you can go back and see what ball you threw for that night as well a the surface you had on that ball. Any questions about FRAMES Pm me and I can ask about it for you.

I tried out FRAMES for the iPAC (demo)and really like how it works.  Let you keep info from where you are standing on the lanes, target, ball, house, type of pattern, and notes for each frame.  I am very impressed with the software.

I plan on getting the full edition, I had a iPAC laying around, but found a great use for a old PDA.

Really like the strike% and spare%.

I recommend it to others that want to easily keep track of there bowling scores and equipment.

I had frames for my Palm Zire 72, and like dicnic said, it was a great software, as long as you took time to out in the info after every shot.
but besides that, great software, perfect for keeping stats and showing you bowling progress.
