The Sidewinder is a hybrid pearl with low load particles in the coverstock.  There were a few Sidewinders that were made that didn't have the particles in the coverstock as well.

the original revolver cover feels alot like the ambush cover, can feel a grainy feel to it, my guess is some particle in revolver.

Would like to find a 15 NIB Power Groove Plum.

That ball was super smooth.

My Wicked Siege reminds me of that ball a lot, only much stronger.

Totally agree. Had one, got rid of it, and later saw its potential. At least I was able to find a used black Proactive PG, which is IMHO a bit stronger (traction-wise - this thing seems to have tiny claws, not particle!) - but with polish and a tame half-axis layout, this baby is super smooth. Does not know over/under, just needs a firm and dedicated release, due to the rolly layout. If you can find one, get it!

Had the Plum drilled pin above ring finger (5.25 from PAP) cg on center grip line with no weight hole. Ball was clean through the heads and angular on the back ends. Very consistent, not jumpy when the lanes broke down or if it hit a little friction. Very easy ball to adjust with. It was what was originally advertised to be before like everything else and going to the next biggest hooking anything ever made department. There is a riot zone 15lbs nib on ebay right now that is plum particle pearl. Wonder how similar the cover is to the PG Plum.

Please read this sentence out loud to yourself and let me know if you can understand what you are saying.  I sure can't.

It should have read

It was what it (it being proactive covers) was originally advertised to be,

before like everything else, and going to the next biggest hooking anything ever made department.

Yes it is a bad sentence either way.

Proactive was released and advertised as a smooth version of reactive that would still handle oil. It shortly was changed to be like everything else, the biggest hooking ball ever made.
