Has anybody out there thrown a Fury yet? If so is it as strong in the oil as they say it is? I just ordered one and can't wait to get it.

First off, LOL to your username.

To answer the question, yes, this ball is as strong as advertised. I drilled 7 yesterday, and they roll strong and create a ton of friction. I've had to polish most all of them, or at least get them up to a smoother 2000 abralon before using on a THS.

Happy to make you laugh BrunsNick. Back in the day I use to throw Brunswick quite a bit and I threw the old Buzzsaw Silver Diamond and this ball has caught my eye and I'm in need of a ball that can handle some oil.

Yes this ball is strong, I drilled one in Vegas for the Mini and the ball was strong but smooth at the same time.  I played with the surfaces quite a bit and it is something that is much different than anything else in my bag because of the surface.  I polished it and it was longer/sharper off the spot, and when I put surface back on it, it was earlier/smoother off the spot.  Great ball .. you might want to drill 2

Here's my question........ what drill do you need to put in it to get that great mid lane read and awesome backend?

It's mainly the surface you need to worry about the layout is only fine tuning it shape of the reaction. Smoothing it up to 2000 or 4000 should get you traction with midlane read but have some backend. A label drill would sound good for this ball with the right surface.

Got my Fury today. And in my prtice throws the lanes were to dry. Try to go thru the middle and it just rolled up. OOB surface it moved maybe 3 boards so I had them polish it up. The results was 3 more boards but still rolling out. I will try to get a oiler shot and see what it does then.
