Guys, I am looking for a lighter oil ball for my gf. She is currently avg about 155-160 with a 13# spit fire. Typically, in the past , I've used storm myself. Looking at the tropical storm, it is apparent to me that the reactor cover on that ball is way to strong for a light oil ball. What she is looking for is something for really really fresh backends. Something that as the night wears on, she can square up to the lane and not have the ball overreact to the dry, which many light oil balls can do if there is head oil. She's not necessarily looking for length as much as controlled hook. So in saying that, would a power groove or power groove dry/r be the better ball choice here? I like the fact that the grooves still have a decent diff. Many low diff balls tend to grap the fresh backends hard because they haven't lost any energy.
